The 2020 blends had been finalized when I visited, with bottling scheduled to take place at the end of August. The 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon Fay Vineyard features delicate, tea-like leafy notes and florals, plus cherry fruit. It’s medium to full-bodied yet silky, fine and elegant, especially given the increase in power over 2018 and 2019 vintages. The long, softly dusty finish epitomizes the elegance this vineyard routinely achieves.
